Why I built this app

Hi, I'm Arthur!
I’m a Brazilian software engineer and digital nomad, and for the past three years I’ve been traveling the world with my partner, Joana. Which is amazing… and also means we’re always planning the next stop.
If you’ve ever tried to pick the “right” time to visit somewhere, you know the rabbit hole: Will the weather actually be nice? Is it peak season (and peak prices)? Are there festivals or events we’d love to catch? Will everything be closed because it’s the off-season?
And the frustrating part is that the answers are never in one place.
We’d bounce between weather sites, travel blogs, event calendars, pricing tools, and a dozen open tabs—trying to piece together a single, confident decision. Most of the time, it felt less like planning a trip and more like doing research for a thesis.
After repeating that process again and again, I realized there was an opportunity to build something unique and useful: one simple place that brings the essentials together—so you can choose a destination and instantly understand the best time to go.
When to Visit is my attempt to make trip planning easier and streamlined. Relevant information in one place, so you can make decisions faster and with confidence.
If you'd like to tag along on our journey, I document a bit of that on my socials. You can follow me on Instagram or YouTube.
